Gladys Ramos is an agricultural engineer with many years of experience. She holds a master's degree in Water and Land Resources Development from CIDIAT in Mérida and a position as a V researcher at INIA in Venezuela. Engineer Ramos is considered an expert in the world of fine aroma cocoa, with extensive experience and participation in national and international events, as coordinator, facilitator, and organizer of more than a hundred training activities with producers and technicians in the area of ​​quality and sensory analysis of cocoa liqueurs.

From 2010 to the present, she has been responsible for the Quality Control Laboratory of the Venezuelan company Cacao Aroma and has been a member of the Board of the Venezuelan Cocoa Chamber (CAPEC) in Venezuela (since 2006). She has held various positions, from consultant to coordinator, supporting research projects as well as participating in national and international courses and workshops.

She applies her knowledge of biology, agroecology, chemistry, and basically all the stages that cacao can go through, from planting and harvesting to the post-harvest phase, where the fermentation and drying processes are crucial.
